While I will agree that she never was "American", I feel that part of the change was done because of the negativity associated with patriotism. Plus, I'm getting older, and crabbier, and I need things to complain about or I will never build enough curmudgeon cred to retire. Plus, I see a lasso on that costume. They are changing her origin story which is more poetntially lame to me. Also, I never thought it was a problem per se. They never know what to do with WW over there, too bad. I thought Greg Rucka had some good stories to tell with her.
